Please note that we are not currently accepting unsolicited submissions of manuscripts and/or proposals due to a full print schedule. Please check back for future reopening.

Submission Guidelines:
Submissions can be made by agents or authors directly.

Manhattan House does not accept phone calls, faxes, or other inquiries regarding unsolicited submissions. Due to the large volume of unsolicited submissions we receive, we regret we cannot respond to all submissions.

What to include in your electronic submission:

Your covering letter should include:
• Your full name (and pseudonym if applicable)
• Your postal address, telephone number, and email address (if you have one)
• Any details of past writing experience
• An estimated word count for your complete manuscript

Synopsis and manuscript
A synopsis is a brief overview, which can vary in length depending on the nature of your book, but generally it should not exceed 500 words. You will also need to attach a copy of your full manuscript in Word format.

Manhattan House is under no obligation to provide any communication related to the status of a submission. If we are interested in publishing the submission, we will contact you.

Manhattan House is under no obligation to return any materials submitted. So please do not send anything that you want returned.
